Weird sightings

I have been in japan now 3 weeks and the oddities are starting to pile up.
I have noticed some strange things so far, and im now gonna share a few.

DOGA
What is "DOGA", well its yoga for dogs silly. Dogs are treated like a fashion accessry and there are as many dog grooming salons as there are convenience stores.

The weather forecast.
They will tell you if its ok to hang your clothing or not. The polution meter is determined by someone wearing a mask or not. So far its been all masks.

World baseball classic
Japanese people are quite modest folk, they havent done anything obvious about winning this contest, but if you watch a pro game the word WBC has been mentioned about 50 times, the number of american players on japanese teams has almost gone to zero and replaced with korean power hitters.

Toys
If you buy a sport drink you get a free toy. Almost everthing comes with a free trinket of some sort.

Food prices
Chicken breast for a buck each, wicked cheap. Fish is wicked cheap too. Sashimi cheap. Sushi is cheap and delicious. Beef, a 10 oz steak will run you about 30 dollars, but they dont even sell them that big, you get a 4oz steak for about 10 bucks. A watermelon, cantalope or a small bunch of grapes, about 20 bucks. But a bento box for lunch stuffed with enough food to feed two is only 5 bucks.

Hey Neil....or should I say brokxs...

Sounds like you are doing well. I like your bike, but I like it better in glowy purple. To each their own.

Have any steaks lately?

Now that you have left Clare is trying to imitate you. You'll have to figure that one out!

BIg hugs to you and Yuki...
